Eliyahu Goldratt’s groundbreaking business book The Goal, is available in movie form. The Goal Movie, a business lesson, disguised as drama, has been done very well with professional actors and production values. Originally a feature-length movie, this version, called the “How-to Version” has been distilled to the most important points (46 minutes) and features a very direct approach to “this is how you do it”.

Eliyahu Goldratt’s book The Goal, A Process of Ongoing Improvement is an entertaining, intriguing novel and at the same time, a thought provoking business book. The story is about a plant manager, Alex Rogo, whose plant and marriage are going downhill. He finds himself in the unenviable position of having ninety days in which to save his plant. An airport meeting with an old acquaintance, Jonah, introduces him to the Theory of Constraints (ToC). He uses this new way of thinking to discover a new purpose for his plant and for his people, find some tools to improve his performance, and in the end, save his business and everyone’s job.

Eliyahu Goldratt does an excellent job explaining his concepts, especially how to work with constraints and bottlenecks. You’ll find yourself empathizing with Alex Rogo, his family, and team. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself cheering for Alex to succeed.

A wedding is one of the best events to be captured on film.  It is such a big day for the people involved that catching on film works great.Because capturing those moments in a photo will forever remind those people involved of that special day.In this article we are going to talk about some ways on how to capture that day forever in photos.

As a wedding photographer San Diego I take a wedding job very seriously.  I know how special that day is so I want to help them have something memorable.So my first tip is all about capturing in photos the moments that are in motion during that day.  What I mean by that is a wedding is not a stand still event.There would be a lot of movement so the trick would be to capture those moments.

Another tip I can give is to take other shot aside from the standard shots that you would normally take.  Well you do want your expected shots but don’t make that the centerpiece.  As a San Diego photographer I am always thinking of ways to capture the same shots with different angles. That way the story you are trying to tell comes alive.You can have some hardship at first but by practicing you will perfect the trick.

Finally you want your photos to capture the event as something bigger than life. Because to the people involved it is bigger than life.  So as a San Diego portrait photographer service I have learned doing big events how to do this.What I am trying to say here is that you should not capture small photos.  You have to learn to take the shots in a way that makes the moment so much bigger.

Now of course all these tips does require some artistic sense.  But if you understand where I am coming from that wedding day you take will be memorable.The photos would not jsut translate into some boring photo album.But pictures that can tell what happened during that very special day.

Are You Thinking Of Joining MLM?

Thinking back now over the last 7 years since I first joined the MLM industry, it’s funny to think that life could have ever been different.  I wanted to take a minute and share some insights with you that I’ve gained over my failures and struggles with the Network Marketing business model.

The truth of the matter is that MLM is a great industry to join, and it’s a great profession to be a part of if you treat it right.  There are some misconceptions, however, that are important to understand if you do decide to join Network Marketing.

I have been actively involved in the Network Marketing profession since mid 2002, and I failed pretty horribly at it right up until 2007.  I wasn’t just a failure in every aspect of my business, but I managed to lose most of my friends in the process of shamelessly promoting my businesses again and again to my loved ones.

If you just glance at the surface of that situation, you might think that I should have quit. (In fact, a lot of well intentioned people encouraged me to.) The fact is that looking back today it was a darned good thing that I didn’t.

Why can I justify joining MLM after 5 years of failure?  Let me compare my current situation to USA average income statistics.  I never graduated from college.  After one year of tuition at UVSC in Orem, Utah, I decided much against the advice of my parents to attack the world as an entrepreneur.

The average household income for someone who’s a high school graduate without a college degree in the USA is $25,900 per year.  At the same time the average household income for someone with a professional degree is $109,600.  While I certainly am not willing to make any income claims, I’ll say that I currently make way more than anyone I know who works in the professional arena.

So should you look at how well I’ve done and go out and join a random MLM company?  Let me share my personal views with you.  You might join a Network Marketing company and fail miserably for your first five years AND the statistics show that most people will experience a certain level of failure before they have any kind of significant MLM success story.  However, statistics show that for those who stick with one MLM company for 10 years or more, you have a dramatically higher chance of earning a six figure income than almost every profession in the USA.  So once again, are you going to treat your business like a professional?  Or are you just trying to get rich quick?
